Part of London's Retail Heritage



Such a pretty solution to a corner site - we might be in Lyon or Lille. But I have a feeling that this particular group of buildings is scheduled for demolition to allow better access for delivery vehicles. Why not insist that only smaller delivery vehicles use it . . .? And what an amazing bonus the architecture of Hanway Place could be for visitors arriving by Crossrail to Tottenham Court Road.

    Big commercial enterprises have an unfortunate way of saying 'Ok, if you don't give us what we want . . . we'll go elsewhere then.'

    I'd be happy to find a solution that ensured that both sides 'won'.
