New Year's Day in Trafalgar Square
All is pristine, not a speck remaining from the litter and discards of the night before, with the London New Year's Day Parade, about to pass by on the southern side of the Square. And whatever work adorns the Fourth Plinth, there will be a pigeon surveying their domain, the skies of London.

    1. Dear tut-tut, We here have decided that the singular noun or pronoun can now be followed by the plural possessive pronoun, namely ‘their’, to avoid the no doubt politically correct but more cumbersome his or her. It's a British English thing, refs supplied. :-)
