The river at night is wonderful, buildings and bridges all lit up - and tonight there is a big moon. I tried to imagine the Shard lit from top to bottom (it's 309.6 metres high) but it was a bit too much (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shard for more info on the construction).
It was a dark and quiet night .....
